Guru Tegh Bahadur was known as Tyaga Mal during his early days. He showed immense courage in the Battle of Kartarpur on April 26, 1635 against the Mughals. He was then only fourteen years old and bestowed the name 'Tegh Bahadur' meaning 'Mighty of the Sword'.
The artwork shows the real relic of Guru ji's own sword. Thara sahib where Guru ji stayed just outside Harmandhir sahib and 500 gold coins at his feet, which helped recognise him as the True Guru!
